agh! So far behind in blogging. I am going to start with the more present and then go back in time. Surprises in life have just gotten away with me!
Anyway, TJ started his school year first with 7th grade. However not just ANY 7th grade. He's in an accelerated 7th grade. He was recommended by his teacher from last year. He attends with the 8th graders in a mixed classroom. He is moving at a faster pace than the regular class and it has been doing him good. He's happy and challenged.
He also wasn't into having his picture taken. sorry, teens don't like theirs smiles caught.
Eric a week later started his first day of his second year at pre-school. He's still in the developmental school to help with his speech and it is working. He's coming along. He's happy to leave on the bus each day. He had been asking to go all summer!
The good news is his bus ride is SO much shorter this year. He rides with a neighbor and picks up one of his friends from last year on the way. He has 20 minutes each way vs last year hour and half!!!!
Dad went into work late to see him off. They hung waiting for the bus
He is so happy to meet the bus!
This is my favorite picture. He was getting annoyed with all the pictures we took. Can you tell? He didn't think it was a big deal!
Brooke is so cute. When Eric would go out to the bus she put on her backpack to walk him. She was even starting to cry and proclaim! "Brooke go on school bus, not Eric" She even tried sneaking on a time or two. Well my friends I started a one day a week co-op preschool and after Labor Day she got to go herself!See, she has on her backpack for real! She learned about the letter A, number 1, apples, circles. She got to finger paint and color. She also got to play with her friends! She had a great day.
