Big Boy Steps

Eric is doing some big boy steps in the next few days. On Monday he will be riding the bus to his first day of school... pre school. I'll blog more about that later.

This weekend Eric got a big boy bed. Don't laugh, we know he's 3. However 1) we didn't want to stop using a crib until we had no choice. 2) He would climb in and out of the crib on his own anyway. He has slept in normal beds before, on trips etc. We just never went through the effort until Jason found an awesome deal on a toddler bed.

So today Jason, T.J. and Eric made the new bed and took down the old crib. Eric was excited as could be for the new bed. He's napping in it right now. Here are the pictures of the work that was done.

It was fun to watch him jump around for excitement about the new bed. It is a shame I can't lay with him in it like he wants.
