You are Blessed, Brooke

In my church a baby is given a special blessing in front of the congregation. We had Brooke's done on September 5th. Jason did a lovely job and seemed very touched having the experience.

First you have to get the right dress:

And have your friend Julee custom make the perfect bow

Then you try and try to get a good family picture



Then you are grateful for your friend Katie who took notes on Jason's prayer so you can share some of it with your friends!

At this time we bless you with the ability to bring continual joy and happiness to your family. We bless you with the ability to have the desire to live the Gospel and to be able to be an example to friends and to peers. We bless you with the ability to get an education to your liking. We bless you when the time comes, to find a worth young man to go to the Temple with. We bless you to have the Spirit about you in your life, that you can show that to others that they will want to learn more. We bless you with all other blessings.

After the blessing we gathered at our home for a second party and enjoy some food and family fun times.
